A 3d character

I have decided that my character will be CG. While the brief entails a character for a cartoon, I aim to pursue a career in 3d art, using computer programs. My weapon of choice is Autodesk Maya, and by extension supporting software used to create textures and to aid in sculpting, such as Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Mudbox.




As mentioned, I don't dip into the realms of character creation, as I prefer creating environmental art that deals with lighting, atmosphere, and mood. That's not to say that I won't enjoy this, however, as it poses a new challenge, and it would improve my prospects and skill set.
